Caravan Holidays

When it comes to holidays there is nothing worse than being stuck. Stuck on the side of the road, stuck in traffic, stuck in a queue trying to fill the tanks, or even stuck in Cork Airport. Before you embark on your next holiday, either at home here in the UK or not so far away in the Emerald Isle, it might pay to make a few simple arrangements before you take off on your next adventure with your loved ones or by yourself, as not overlooking a few simple details, and making a few simple arrangements can make the difference between an enjoyable getaway and the holiday from hell.

For those that are about to visit Ireland in the near future and are planning on flying into Cork Airport, organizing your car hire before you go will ensure that you won't waste your time messing around at the airport looking for a better deal than the last one which wasn't particularly appealing, as you will be able to organize your transportation before you leave so you won't have to drag kids and suitcases from counter to counter.

If you are planning on taking a road trip around the UK once the weather clears, there are a few things that are worth taking into consideration before leaving. Perhaps one of the most important of these, and perhaps the most commonly overlooked, is the issue of breakdown cover.

Most of us would not dream of stepping into an uninsured car let alone get behind the wheel of one. Yet why is that so many of us know of someone that has broken down by the side of a road in the middle of nowhere, or late at night in a place that they wish they could just get away from.

Whilst touring caravan sites is a great way to really experience the UK it always pay to remember that not all holidays go as smoothly as we plan and that there is a real possibility that we could experience some sort of problem with the car or caravan be it mechanical or otherwise.

Don't be put off by the thought that some sort of mishap could occur as you are cruising the country roads of the UK or are just turning onto the highway from Cork Airport but just be aware that it pays to take certain measures into consideration to ensure that if something should go wrong, you will be covered.

Ireland is a beautiful place to visit all year round particularly in the summer, so it pays to remember that at certain times of the year, New Year's Eve and St. Patrick's Day for example, that there can be a lot of other travelers flying in and out of the major Irish airports, so if you are planning on renting a car from Cork Airport, be aware that your best option would be to book before you depart so as to make sure that you are guaranteed a vehicle.
